Call
The support line is answered 24/7. If systems are down or you suspect a breach, calling is the fastest way to get a technician working on it.
If you think you've been hacked right now
- Unplug the network cable or turn off Wi-Fi on the affected machine. Don't power it off. Memory and logs on a running machine help figure out what happened and what was taken.
- Don't pay, don't reply, don't click anything else. Ransom notes and fake support pop-ups both want you to act fast. Neither improves with speed.
- Change your email password from a different device. Use your phone, not the affected computer. If you have admin accounts, change those too.
- Write down what happened and when. Who clicked what, what the screen said, what time it started. Your cyber insurer and the technician will both ask.
